Nigeria Music Network gathered popular Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid (Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun), is the winner of this year's African Artist of the Year at the concluded Ghana Music Awards (2013).

Interestingly, Wizkid beat P-Square, Iyanya, and Davido to win African Artist of the Year. For Wizkid to beat the duo of P-Square (Peter and Paul Okoye) is a big deal and also magical or what do you think

Anyway, the Ghana Music Awards (GMA) took place at the La Palm Hotel in Accra, and was hosted by Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and songstress Eazzy, followed by performances from Banky W, E.L., Fuse ODG, among others.

We say congratulations to the baddest boy starboy Wizkid for winning African artist of the year! See Wizkid Biography on Nigeria's Music Network.
